It was also cooler earlier. Unlike us, all the other members of our tour stayed on to do the Acropolis Museum with her too and I wish we had done this. Both are a must see in Athens and both are much better with a guide.”

The driver did explain what we were seeing before he dropped us off at the sightseeing site. But if you are looking for a very detailed description of the site I would go with the guided tour.”

“We received instructions to meet our guide, Ms Alexandra and she was waiting for us when we arrive at the time provided. She had already purchased the tickets so we could skip the line and not have the long wait at the ticketing counter which was awesome (we visited at the end of June and it was 32c and very hot) Ms Alexandra provided a detailed description of everything we saw and was so sweet answering our many questions. We highly recommend her and the tour as it offers valuable information about the history of Athens as well as the many structures around the Acropolis.”
