“Do not use Viator! We had a tour of Auschwitz booked and paid for for our family. No reply to all our messages beforehand, on the day of the trip nobody turned up at our hotel (as arranged) to take us on our tour. Viator said they will request that the tour operator refund our €400, but cannot guarantee that! Don't use Viator, terrible customer service and communications, waste of time and they basically steal your money.”

“the experience was really bad. They changed my schedule the day before to 4 hours in advance of what was planned. I had to bought new train tickets losing the previous one. They put me in a queue under the snow with -10° from 530 am till 10 am to get the tickets at the museum ticket office. They did not respect the language of the visit (deutche instead of spanish). I can not imagine anything worse organized.”

We arrived 30 minutes early for our slot and they actually managed to squeeze us on to the earlier trip. The buses were air conditioned, clean and got us to Vesuvius in about 40 minutes. We had 1.5 hours to go up, enjoy the views, have a drink and walk down. The buses arrived back exactly on time and took us back. Overall, I was very happy with our experience and would recommend.”

“The tour guide Daniel was very good and pick up was on time. Just wish the pick up was a little earlier, we got picked up at 12:35 and got to the tour at 1500 and was all a little rushed due to traffic making us late. Overall experience was very good, your guides very informative and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, however leaving a little earlier to allow time for toilet breaks and a little more time would have been useful, however the traffic made us late not anyones fault.”

Got a 15 min taxi to the collection point and had arrived 15 mins earlier. No sign of the driver anywhere. Waited 45 mins and then called viator who said they will contact my driver and assured they was going to be on their way. Another 30 mins later no sign so called back only to be told on the phone our trip was full…”
