“So what happens in this instance is you book with them and they buy the actual ticket in your name and transfer it to you electronically on site before you enter. I wasn’t aware that’s what was going to happen and was initially confused so I thought it might be helpful to have it clearly spelled out. Reminder to bring ID as these are named tickets and they do check ID at several stages of the entrance sequence. But for the life of me I couldn’t buy tickets directly from the Uffizi back home in the states so this was a lifesaver through the app. Worth the cost”

“When they use the term “Skip the line” it really means very little. We met the representative at the scheduled time with a few other people and were then escorted to a line with at least 500 people ahead or us (not exaggerating, probably more). Then the rep just left. It was more of a mob with no identifiable lines. We were told the openings had been sold out for two weeks but tickets continued to be sold. The museum is definitely worth visiting. The skip the line purchase for our experience did nothing.”

It was exactly what we were expecting, as non-expert tourist who wished to get some understanding of the Renaissance art of the time: a quick 2-hour tour, not very deep but covering all the major artworks and pieces of the gallery, which I have to say, is amongst the best of the world. Only downside: the tour said skip the line and it's not entirely true you skip the line to buy the tickets, but you still have to queue to enter like you had bought the ticket via the internet in our case it was like half an hour. In any case, it was well worth it!”
