On average, the cost of renting an RV for a month can range from $1,200 to $9,500 total – including tax. A small pop-up camper can cost as low as $1,250 a month (with a 10% – 30% discount). However, a luxury class A motorhome will cost between $4,000 to $9,500 a month, including a discount.
Many RVers prefer to rent RVs long-term, often because of the great deals you can get. You may find prices for a month-long trip for as little as $1,200! However, you want to plan precisely for the right amount of time, the quality of the RV, and your budget.

How Much Does it Cost to Rent an RV for a Month?
If you’re new to renting RVs – or RVing altogether – long-term RV rentals can be a little confusing. Let me help by breaking down the average RV rental prices for you.
The first thing you should consider when looking at monthly RV rental prices is the type of rig you want for your trip.
How much does it cost to rent a motorhome for a month?
A large, luxurious Class A RV – which is a drivable motorhome – can cost $175 – $320 per night for older models and $300 – $450 for newer ones. For month-long rentals, many Class A RV’s will offer discounts between 5-20%.
On the other hand, renting a Class B campervan for a month can range from $100 – $200 per night for older models and $200 – $350 for the new models. Many of these also offer discounts from 10-20% off.
Monthly rental prices for drivable Class C RVs can range from $120 – $200 for older models and $225 – $400 for the newer models. Some Class C RVs will have a 5-10% discounted rate.
RV rental prices are often based on the rental period. For example, renting an RV for just one day may cost from $75 to $350 (including tax), whereas a weeklong rental can range from $500 to $2,400.
