Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area is the place to be for spectacular sunrise and sunset views, swimming for kids and free camping in Colorado. This is an amazing place hidden in the Upper Colorado Plateau region. The scenery is spectacular. The history dates back to ancient times with petroglyphs and settlers cabins to explore. Although we did not check out the rock climbing or rafting, those are popular in the area.
