Had to collect train ticket at Sorrento before journey. On arrival at Pompeii Scavi – instruction was to get further ticket for entry from office on the first floor. Staff there not very helpful or pleasant. Bus took one hour from train station in a very uncomfortable vehicle to start of climb. There was supposed to be a guide when we got to Vesuvius but no details provided of how we met them, as a result we didn’t have…”
