Our other guide was extremely knowledgeable of Pompeii and all it has to offer. The site itself is stunning. We were there a solid 2 1/2 hours, and you felt like you'd only seen 20%. The lunch at the winery was super nice as well. I highly recommend this tour for those looking to do a day trip from Rome to Pompeii.”

We had the benefit of two excellent guides - Guiseppe de Paul of Giromondo who led the tour - and Ricardo who was our guide at Pompéi. Ricardo did a Masters in Archaeology in London and has a deep knowledge of all architectural aspects of Pompéi (obviously) but also a great knowledge of Greco-Roman history that enthused all on the tour.
